(KTTS News) — A 22-year-old man from West Plains has been arrested for having a child with a 16-year-old.
A paternity test revealed David Plyuschev was the father.
He and the teenager started dating when she was 14.
The investigation began when a Highway Patrol trooper stopped him for a missing license plate and noticed the girl in the passenger seat.
She told the trooper she was eight months pregnant, but Plyuschev denied being the father.
He’s currently charged with 2nd-degree statutory rape.
