(KTTS News) – A Springfield contractor has pleaded guilty this week to unlawful merchandising.
James Enloe operated Enloe Exteriors.
Detectives say Enloe promised home renovations or repairs and would require large advance payments.
After taking the payments, Enloe would only provided partial work and then abandoned projects without further communication with the consumers.
He pleaded guilty to charges in the case and will serve a four-year suspended sentence.
The judge also ordered Enloe to pay more than $82,000 back in restitution.
