(KTTS News) – Things got a little western for Springfield Police last night.
A cow that escaped from a trailer caused delays on the James River Freeway yesterday evening.
Police responded to the call near James River Freeway and Campbell Avenue around 5 p.m.
Officers wrangled the cow for about an hour and were finally able to get the cow back in the trailer.
The incident caused traffic delays to the eastbound James River Freeway.
No officers (or cows) were injured.
