(KTTS News) – Springfield Police say that an early Monday morning chase ended with the arrest of a driver.
The driver was in a vehicle that was reported stolen.
The chase happened around 12:30 near Kansas and High Street when police noticed the stolen vehicle.
Police attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver sped off.
The driver went through Nichols Park and got the vehicle stuck in a fence near Chestnut Street.
The driver then fled on foot and was caught shortly after.
The name of the driver has not been released at this time.
