(KTTS News) — The Springfield Planning and Zoning Commission has turned down a request to rezone land at the northwest corner of National and Sunshine.
The land is zoned residential, but a developer wants to turn it into a retail development with a food hall, indoor playground, and pickleball courts.
Neighbors spoke out against the proposed development.
The request could go before Springfield City Council next year.
