(KTTS News) – Two individuals were arrested after leading law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase on I-44 on Saturday.
The chase started near Rolla when the police tried to pull over a vehicle for multiple traffic violations.
Several counties assisted in the pursuit.
Jasper County deputies were able to deploy spike strips near the Sarcoxie exit. A Lawrence County deputy successfully stopped the car by spinning it out.
The driver, who was identified as a man from East St. Louis, Illinois, and another occupant were taken into custody.
