(KTTS News) — The first phase of the Kansas Expressway extension project is expected to open between November 15 and the end of the year.
Once that happens, drivers should be able to use Kansas Expressway between Republic Road and Plainview Road.
Crews will initially pave one lane of traffic in each direction.
The new road was supposed to open on November 1, but there were several delays, including when workers discovered AT&T lines that had to be moved.
