(KTTS News) – The Honor Flight of the Ozarks headed off to Washington D.C. earlier this morning.
Honor Flight says that 81 Veterans and 81 guardians are on the flight.
14 Veterans on the flight are from the Korean Conflict, and 67 Veterans fought in the Vietnam War.
The flight is expected to land back at the Springfield-Branson National Airport around 9 PM.
If you would like to welcome the Veterans home at the airport, you are encouraged to arrive around 8:30 PM.
Plans are already underway for three Honor Flight in 2024.
