(KTTS News) — Southwest Missouri Congressman Eric Burlison and Western Missouri Congressman Mark Alford say they still back Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House.

Jordan failed for a second time on Wednesday to get the votes he needed to become House speaker.

22 Republicans opposed Jordan Wednesday compared to 20 who opposed him on Tuesday.
