(KTTS News) — The co-chair of the Missouri legislature’s joint agriculture committee says he wants to prevent other countries from buying Missouri farmland.
State representative Mike Haffner from Cass County says he’ll bring up the issue in another bill next session.
Haffner says it’s a matter of protecting food sources and keeping control of how land can be used.
