(KTTS News) — A man is facing charges after he accidentally hit a 7-year-old girl in the arm with an arrow at an elementary school in McPherson, Kansas, north of Wichita.

The girl was on the playground when it happened.

The man was doing target practice with a bow and arrow when he missed his target.

He called police and turned himself in.
