(KTTS News) – Governor Parson had a state of the state address for Springfield leaders on Thursday.
He spoke at a gathering for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and talked about the state’s successes in business expansion and job creation.
He also emphasized that the Springfield area will receive nearly 500 million dollars in roadway projects.
He said the state will be funding a widening project for Interstate 44 from Glenstone to Route 65. There are also plans for improvements to bridges and interchanges along I-44.
The Governor also touted the Missouri unemployment rate, broadband development, and business expansion.
