(KTTS News) — The Highway Patrol says eight people died in crashes over the July 4th holiday weekend.
Four people drowned on lakes and rivers.
Three traffic deaths were reported Saturday and five others happened Tuesday.
Troopers worked 390 traffic accidents during the holiday weekend.
There were 116 arrests for driving while intoxicated and 21 drug arrests were made.
