(KTTS News) — A NASA astronaut and Missouri native has announced his retirement.
Michael Hopkins has worked for NASA for 14 years and has spent 334 days in space.
His last trip was in 2020 leading a SpaceX crew mission to the International Space Station.
Hopkins is a native of Lebanon.
He was raised near Richland, Missouri and graduated from School of the Osage High School.
