(KTTS News) — A Heat Advisory is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through Friday night.
Heat index readings between 105 and 110 degrees are expected through Friday, with temperatures in the triple digits.
Excessive heat will return Today through Friday. The combination of heat and humidity will likely drive afternoon Heat Index values above 105, with the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature also highlighting an increased heat risk. pic.twitter.com/iz4kRIQs1T

Branson and Joplin will see highs around 100 degrees today.
Springfield will be 97.
