(KTTS News) — The Greene County Clerk’s office has opened absentee voting for the special election that is coming up in Springfield.
Voters will go to the polls on August 8th to decide if the city of Springfield can levy a three percent tax on marijuana sales that would go to public safety and other areas.
In-person absentee voting will be available weekdays from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. at the Greene County Elections Center on North Boonville Avenue.
Springfield voters who want to cast an early mail ballot can apply to the county clerk’s office.
