(KTTS News) — Circuit clerks across the state are dealing with a Thursday deadline to expunge misdemeanor marijuana offenses.

In November, Missouri voted to legalize recreational marijuana.

All non-violent marijuana-related cases must be removed from court records by June 1.

More than 46,000 cases have been expunged statewide.

But 28 counties have removed less than 100 cases.
