Some people never learn…even when the warnings are given verbally or posted clearly in black and white.  I had the opportunity to work in Montana back in the early 200o’s and got to visit Yellowstone a number of times.  Even back then, I saw for myself how some people thought they could approach the bison in the park.  No thinking about safety whatsoever.  They simply walked up to wild animals.  Fortunately when I saw it happen, no one got injured.  And it’s not limited to Yellowstone – it takes place everywhere.  I saw it happen when I lived in Anchorage.  Visitors would walk up to Moose without regard to safety for themselves and the animals.  It didn’t always end nice.

Here’s today’s reminder courtesy of Fox Weather and a recent incident caught on camera in Yellowstone.
