(KTTS News) — Springfield City Council will consider a bill tonight that would let the city apply for federal funding to end youth homelessness.
The bill would let the city apply for at least $600,000 to help young people ages 13-24 find housing and care.
Springfield will have to compete with other cities for the funding.
It’s applied for the money six times before but came up short.
