(KTTS News) — A new law will make it easier for people in Missouri to get access to physical therapy services.
Governor Parson has signed a bill that he says will reduce patient costs and protect quality of care.
The new law allows qualified physical therapists to treat patients without a prescription or a referral from a doctor.
The bill was sponsored by State Senator Karla Eslinger, who represents District 33 in southern Missouri.
