(KTTS News) — A former car dealer in Springfield has been sentenced to federal prison for filing nearly $800,000 worth of fraudulent loans.
Chris King owned Queen City Motors.
Federal prosecutors say he submitted at least 30 false loan applications, receiving cash deposits through wire transfers.
King was sentenced to four years in prison and three years probation and ordered to pay nearly $650,000 restitution.
