(KTTS News) – A man from Aurora has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his girlfriend in 2020.
46-year-old Shane Mackey was convicted in the death of Rachael Sanders.
Sanders was found dead at a home in Republic.
Police said Mackey gave inconsistent statements about the woman’s death.
He had a history of arrests for domestic assault.
