(KTTS News) — A man was shot and killed during a confrontation with Greene County deputies Friday morning.
Deputies went to a convenience store in the 5000 block of West Sunshine around 8:15 a.m. and caught up with a woman identified from a previous theft.
The deputies then encountered a man who was holding a gun to his head.
He charged at deputies and they fired shots.
Michael Gann from Springfield, 43, died at the scene.
Two deputies are on administrative leave while authorities investigate the shooting.
