(KTTS News) — Police were busy investigating swatting calls at schools across Missouri on Monday.
There was a false text message about a shooting that was sent out Monday regarding Kickapoo High School in Springfield.
Officers were sent to the school around 1 p.m. and quickly determined that it was a false report.
Similar swatting calls were reported at Ozark High School, Carthage High School, Carl Junction High School, and Branson High School.
There were a number of reports of false shooting calls at schools across Missouri.
Similar texts were reported in Kansas City, St. Louis, and in Knob Noster.
