(KTTS News) — Springfield City Council votes today on whether to use eminent domain to buy the Hotel of Terror in downtown Springfield.
The city and the owner of the business have tried to reach an agreement for several years.
The city wants to buy the building so it can fix the Main Street bridge.
The foundation of the Hotel of Terror is right up against the bridge.
The owner says he’s willing to sell the building, but the city’s offer isn’t high enough.
