(KTTS News) — Cedar County officials are investigating after a woman’s body was found buried in a rural area.
The Cedar County Sheriff says an investigation led to a search warrant for a rural property on Wednesday.
It’s believed the woman had been buried there for several weeks.
An autopsy will be conducted.
The name of the woman has not been released.
Several people of interest and witnesses have been interviewed as the investigation continues.
