(KTTS News) — Missouri Senator Josh Hawley says he wants to make 16 the minimum legal age to use social media.

Hawley telling NBC News it’s time to pass bipartisan legislation to stop Big Tech from collecting personal data on kids and teenagers online.

Hawley is one of President Biden’s harshest critics.

But he supports Biden’s FTC chairwoman, who says it’s time to break up monopolies in the tech industry.
