(KTTS News) – A missing teen from Bolivar who has been missing for weeks is safe.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced that 16-year-old Kaitlynn Dooley was found earlier this week.

Sheriff Morrison says Dooley was a runaway and agreed to turn herself in.

Sheriff Danny Morrison wrote, “After 32 days our prayers have been answered and Kaitlynn Dooley has been located safe and sound. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, FBI and Polk County Sheriff’s Office conducted an extensive investigation over the past month that led to her return. I would like to thank the Polk County community for the help and support during this time.”
