(KTTS News) — A man who was shot in the head at a home in Greene County survived and is now charged with domestic assault and burglary.
Greene County investigators say Steven Bailey, Junior was strangling a woman at the home on North Farm Road 143 when her teenage son shot him with a shotgun.
A sheriff’s spokeswoman says the boy was not arrested because he was defending his mother, and because Bailey told him he was going after him next.
KY3 says Bailey was connected to an arson at the same home in April.
He’s been involved in 15 domestic assaults in Greene County since 2006.
Bailey is in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
