A Bois D’Arc man escaped a house fire on Wednesday.
Fire crews responded around 11 a.m. to a home located off West Robinson Street in Bois D’Arc.
The homeowner said that the fire started on a mattress and then spread throughout the rest of the home.
Fire crews believe the home is a total loss.
