(KTTS News) — A high-speed crash in Nixa Wednesday night has left a 9-year-old boy dead.
The Highway Patrol says a car driven by a 16-year-old boy ran a red light at Highway 160 and Northview, hitting the side of a minivan.
A boy in the minivan died.
A 12-year-old girl and 40-year-old woman in the van were hurt.
Troopers say the driver of the car has serious injuries.
An 18-year-old boy in his car was also hurt.
All of the crash victims were from Nixa.
