(KTTS News) — A Greene County judge has heard a taped interview from the woman charged in the death of her biological daughter.
Rebecca Ruud is charged with the death of Savannah Leckie after the girl’s remains were found in a burn pile on Ruud’s property in Ozark County.
KY3 says that in the taped confession Ruud suggests to an attorney that Leckie killed herself by overdosing on drugs.
Ruud says she then burned the girl’s body.
Ruud reported the girl missing the next day.
