(KTTS News) — The Barry County Sheriff says he’s looking at new ways to prevent any future escapes from the jail in Cassville.
Three men escaped last week by making a hole in the ceiling.
One man was arrested in Wyoming.
The other two are still on the run.
KY3 says the sheriff is talking with county commissioners about the problem.
In the meantime, the hole in the ceiling is being patched with plywood.
The sheriff says the inmates who escaped won’t be returned to the Barry County Jail.
He says they’ll likely go to the new Greene County Jail.
