Road Rage Murder Trial Moves To Day Four

(KTTS News) — The defense began presenting its case Wednesday for a woman charged with intentionally running over another woman in Springfield in a fit of road rage.

Elizabeth McKeown is charged with murder in the death of Barbara Foster.

A defense expert testified that cough syrup caused McKeown to act the way she did.

She’d been drinking it before hitting Foster.

Prosecutors showed a tape where McKeown admitted hitting Foster’s car and running her over because she had to get to the bank to make a car payment.

KY3 says the trial could wrap up this week.
