(KTTS News) — The Nixa School Board has voted to remove two books from library shelves.
It comes after parents voiced concerns about possible inappropriate content inside the books.
The board voted to remove “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and “Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic”.
A third book, “Homegoing”, was retained with restrictions.
KY3 says the district received 17 requests for reconsideration on 16 individual titles.
