(KTTS News) — Storms are ending, but flooding remains a problem across the Ozarks.

MoDOT’s Traveler Info map shows numerous roads are closed because of high water.

Numerous water rescues were reported Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Scenes like the ones below are easily avoidable. Unfortunately, these scenes were repeated many times around our area this morning. Any amount of water over the roadway is dangerous. DO NOT DRIVE INTO WATER! pic.twitter.com/oPQUSMoqjv
