(KTTS News) — The National Weather Service is warning people not to burn outside today.
There’s an elevated fire risk.
Temperatures will be in the 60s today.
That, combined with wind gusts around 30 miles an hour, could cause fires to spread rapidly.
Areas north of Highway 60 have the greatest chance for fires to spread.
Some areas north of I-44 got very little rain yesterday and are below normal for the past couple of weeks.
