(KTTS News) — The National Weather Service has cancelled the Tornado Watch that was in effect for counties southeast of Springfield.
Severe storms are not expected for the rest of the day.

Widespread showers and storms are expected across the Ozarks today.
A Tornado Watch is in effect until 1 p.m. for Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Taney, Webster and Wright counties southeast of Springfield.

The main threat will be strong winds, but an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
The best chance for severe weather is sometime between mid-morning and this afternoon.
