(KTTS News) — A former Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputy is charged with burglary and animal abuse.
Zachary Cook’s ex-girlfriend says he broke into her Springfield apartment while she was gone and killed her dog.
Investigators say it was captured on video.
KY3 says another former girlfriend told authorities that Cook killed her dog while they were dating, too.
