A 47 year-old Springfield woman faces numerous charges related to the death of an infant.
Earlier this month, Springfield Police responded to a home daycare for a report of an infant not breathing.
The home was run by Deborah Lundstrom on North Washington.
KY3 says Lundstrom placed the children in car seats and left her home for approximately 12 minutes, leaving all nine children unsupervised.
Officers performed CPR before the 8-month-old was rushed to a Springfield hospital and pronounced dead.
The cause of death was asphyxiation.
A medical examiner said the car seat chest clip may have prevented the baby boy from breathing.
Lundstrom faces charges of first-degree involuntary manslaughter, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child resulting in death, and eight counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
