A Marshfield insurance agent charged with defrauding an elderly couple has been sentenced by a judge to 120 days in prison.
Lacey Stokes pleaded guilty to three felony counts of stealing at least $750 in November.
She has been sentenced to 120 days in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Charges were filed against Stokes after an elderly couple learned that their insurance agency never received payment for the over $5,000 they paid in premiums.
The state is investigating nine cases against her.
