A third Whataburger restaurant is apparently in the works in Springfield.
It’s expected to be on Glenstone in front of the Battlefield Mall.
The city of Springfield says the Texas burger chain is also considering locations near Sunshine and the West Bypass and near Glenstone and Kearney.
But no building permits have been submitted.
The chain has already confirmed a restaurant is coming to Republic.
And officials in Ozark say a building permit has been submitted there.
