Mercy Springfield Reminding Community Of Visitor Policy With Rising COVID-19 Cases

Mercy in Springfield is reminding those in the area about its visitor policy with COVID-19 cases rising.

Staff at the health system will only allow one visitor per patient in all hospitals, clinics or other care facilities.

Pediatric patients can have two visitors and for end-of-life care, the staff will follow regular visitation policies.

The hospital is giving visitors and patients droplet masks as they come in. Those masks are known to provide a higher level of protection than cloth masks.
