Springfield City Council Seeks Public Input on New Flag Design

Springfield City Council will be collecting feedback through Friday on a proposed new city flag.

It began collecting input on December 13th, and will likely hold a vote on January 10th.

The flag, created by the Springfield Identity Project, was originally proposed in 2017, but was not a proposed ordinance until this last month.

Of the 3,500 people who have responded to the public survey, 72% have supported the new flag.

A link to the survey can be found here.
