A man from Nixa has been charged after he barricaded himself inside a home with a newborn baby.
The Christian County prosecutor charged Bobby Duane Daniel with domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest.
Nixa Police say Daniel locked himself inside the home on Barracuda Drive after making suicidal statements.
After a short negotiation, Daniel came out of the home.
The baby was not hurt.
