Republic Middle School officials and the Republic Police Department are investigating reports of inappropriate touching by another student at two recent school dances.
Republic Middle School notified parents in an email, confirming it had received reports of inappropriate touching from two dances, one for sixth grade students, and one for seventh and eighth grade students.
The Republic Police Department says there were multiple victims who were touched by another student.
Republic Middle School says it encourages affected students to contact a school counselor or administrator.
