Statement from Carver Middle School to parents:
Carver Staff and Families:
This morning, our school office received an anonymous and threatening phone call. It was not specific, nor was it targeted at the entire school; however, safety is always our top priority and we are responding appropriately. This includes having an increased police presence on our campus. As always, our building remains secure, with all exterior doors locked, and our staff and our students are safe.
As we continue to investigate and monitor this situation, we will provide updates, if warranted. In the meantime, please know that your child is safe and we will continue with our regular schedule.
At this time, we ask that you refrain from calling or visiting the school unless it is an emergency. This will allow us to effectively monitor the situation and maintain our normal routine.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
