A man from Springfield is facing a felony charge for stealing a catalytic converter.
Jason Cole Cottrell could spend up to seven years behind bars.
Police responded to a call about a man cutting one of the auto parts off a car on North Fremont over the weekend.
Officers say Cottrell had the converter and a reciprocating saw on him.
