KTTS News took home two awards from the Missouri Broadcaster’s Association this weekend.
KTTS took home first place for Breaking News of a Springfield stabbing and a certificate for merit for Severe Weather Coverage of the winter storm in February.
KTTS also won first place for best Podcast, The Toll: Hearts for Gloria, by Nancy Simpson.
Our sister station, Power 96.5, won a certificate of merit for a Station Sponsored Community Event for Old School Day for Mental Health.
And Springfield’s Talk, 104.1, took home a certificate of merit in the Promotion category for its Hero Appreciation Hotline and a certificate of merit for Opinion/Commentary.
The winning entries are chosen by radio stations in other states.
