A man in Pulaski County will spend the next thirty years behind bars for a shooting that injured a neighbor and killing a kitten.
Marcus Lavender was found guilty of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful use of a weapon.
In June 2019, deputies responded to a home and found a man with a gunshot wound after a dispute with Lavender over the killing of a kitten.
